January 2, 2010: We were invited to Nuffnang Friso Gold Family Day Out 2010 in Kizsports & Gym, 1 Utama on the first Saturday in January for our post. The experience was…
Well, read on to find out…
On the way

Jezebelle preferred to walk to Kizsports than sit in the stroller. She just started to master walking not too long ago when she turned 13 months.
Registration

Although we reached there before it starts, the queue for registration was quite long.

We managed to take a family portrait after our registration and they only have “one-size-fits-all” T-shirt, so Jezebelle looks like she’s wearing a pajamas.
Playland (Part 1)

After taking a portrait, we took Jezebelle to the Kizsports Playland and it took awhile for her to warm up.

Jezebelle started throwing balls when she saw other kids doing so. She even smacked one of the other kids with a ball. But, too bad, I didn’t manage to record that.
Here is a video of her throwing balls: -

After awhile, Jezebelle wanted to come out since she gets bored easily.

Jezebelle was aiming for a throw.

Jezebelle showed us the facial expression that she had enough already.
Event Begins

Nuffnang’s Marcus was the emcee of the event. He kicked off the event with a boring speech as most kids were already impatient, wanted to explore the playland.

Jezebelle was bored that we had to give her some baby biscuits, even though Kizsports doesn’t allow anyone to eat in the Playland area.
Playland (Part 2)
As the Gym only allows a limited number of participants, we had to wait for our turn. Jezebelle, however, could not wait, so she started playing in the Playland.

Jezebelle was enjoying a ride. If you notice, a much older kid helped Jezebelle to push the car she was sitting. How nice of her.
However, the car ride was short-lived since Jezebelle’s attention span is just as short.
Afterwards, there was a talk by Friso and Ruth Liew but we missed it because my camera phone ran out of battery and I had to get to my car to charge it.

Jezebelle tried to stand up by holding onto the fence. A fence is built in the Playland area for kids 3 years old and below for safety reason.

Jezebelle seemed delighted as she moved around the perimeter of the fence.

Jezebelle reached the corner of the Playland. Believe me, Jezebelle is way too naughty for a girl. Perhaps, she’s one hell of a curious kid.

Then, Jezebelle submerged herself into a pool of colorful balls and spent some time there.

Gym
We went into the Gym which was only for kids three years and below.

It didn’t take Jezebelle too much time to warm up as she was already rolling a huge exercise ball once we stepped in.

Jezebelle crawled and climbed like a monkey (or an agitated child). At one time, she even did this…

Jezebelle tried to walk through the tiny space. Now, that’s very clever of her but extremely naughty.

Jezebelle crawled here and there.

Jezebelle walked here and there.

Jezebelle climbed through the ladder on the floor.

Jezebelle managed to take a short rest after all the crawling, walking and climbing.
And then, the moment where Jezebelle discovered herself.

Jezebelle was amused by the mirror image of herself. We were quite amused too by her actions.

Then, Jezebelle started playing with the mirror.

Jezebelle had fun playing with herself on the mirror.

Jezebelle leaned herself onto the mirror.

Jezebelle took a closer look at herself.

Jezebelle took a moment to look at us. And then…

She started to kiss herself in the mirror. We were amused and amazed by her antics.

Jezebelle was still bemused with the mirror image of herself.
Lunch Time
And then, it’s lunch time. There was a room for the kids and the adults section was on another section. Somehow, most parents ate together with their kids in the kids section.

Jezebelle’s lunch included spaghetti with tiny chicken flakes, and some small boiled sausages. There was also a cheese roll, a banana cake and a Capri-Sonne Apple flavor drink.

Jezebelle ate her lunch.

Everyone’s ate their lunch too.

Adult’s lunch looked more boring but they were served hot. Kids’ lunch were served cold because they were all ready on the tables for quite awhile and the place is fully air-conditioned, so the food gets cold easily.

After lunch, there was a special magic show just for the kids. Most kids were entertained by the magician’s special illusions and some antics. Even some parents were glued to his show.

Next was the prize-giving ceremony. Ten consolation prizes of MYR 100 worth of Toys ‘R Us vouchers were given away. The grand prize of 3D2N Disneyland Hong Kong was won by MomBloggersPlannet, a prominent blogger in the parenting category in Malaysia.
We were quite disappointed that we didn’t even win the consolation prize because we thought our post was good enough to win at least the consolation prize. Perhaps, the contest was rigged? Or perhaps we didn’t mention the name “Friso Gold” enough in our contest post?
All we know is Jezebelle grew up drinking Frisolac and Friso Gold and look at her now. You can easily tell which kid drinks Friso milk from the pictures above.
Overall, Jezebelle had a blast on Nuffnang Friso Gold Family Day Out. We may be slightly disappointed but we knew the experience we had on this day was simply awesome.

And nobody went home empty handed. Every family was given a bag of goodies on the way out.

Jezebelle was so tired she fell asleep. We had some shopping and coffee before she woke up.

Much to our surprise, Jezebelle didn’t have enough she wanted to sit on the kids coin operated car ride.

To sum up the day, the word missing from above is “out-of-this-world”. Yes, we had an “out-of-this-world” experience. The experience we had today could not be bought by money or gold. Through this experience, our toddler managed to learn, explore and play with other kids. Seeing her having so much fun is just priceless.
Our heartfelt appreciation to Nuffnang and Friso Gold for putting up such a great event.
