Oct 21, 2008: My wife was admitted to Hospital Bersalin Razif last nite at approximately 9pm on October 21, 2008. Dato Dr.Hj Razif Aziz was our doctor and he said she has to be admitted due to the contraction and the opening of 4 centimeters.

We have chosen one of the Perdana Rooms because of a few reasons. One, I can accompany her till the next morning or until whenever. Second, well, it’s only slightly more expensive. The normal package is at MYR 1,150 where the patients have to share room with five others whereas the Perdana Rooms have either twin-sharing or single. We chose the latter one and it costs MYR 1,600 for the entire package with additional MYR 200 per night.

The Perdana Room comes with TV, patient bed, additional bed for husband (extendable bed from a chair, actually), private bathroom, wardrobe and a PC with free Internet access. Not too bad.
